This book is a culmination of my thoughts on the protest that were going on around the world. I sat with my family contemplating how I would explain to my children when they asked what we had done during these trying times. In the midst a global pandemic and the height of all the protest happening throughout my pregnancy, I felt compelled to use my gift of teaching as an opportunity to help others in a similar situation with their children. This book is aimed at the inquisitive minds of the future. It is created to help them dip their toe into the world of standing up for what you believe is right. The book aims to start a dialogue over injustices in a communal and productive manner.

My husband and I have pushed through the process of cultivating my thoughts of this potential conversation with our children, to the final stages of seeing it finally coming to fruition in the form of a fully realized book. We were meticulous in selecting our illustrator to portray the exact vision and art style we wanted. We were also able to have our designer format the book in it's entirety for print and E-book availbility.
